How it works
If you want, we can text you a resource’s details (its name, address, phone, hours, and a link) so you have them handy. We only text you when you ask, to a number you give us yourself. We send that one message and, at most, one follow-up to check whether you connected. We never send marketing.
How to opt in
- By phone: while you’re on a call with our helpline, ask us to text you a resource’s details and give your number.
- On the website: on any resource’s page, tap “Text this resource to a phone” and enter your number (you can see what that looks like below).
The opt-in form
This is exactly what you’ll see and agree to when you request a text:
By tapping the button, you confirm this is your own phone and agree to receive a text with the resource you asked for, plus at most one follow-up. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We never sell or share your number, and we delete it within 90 days.
